Explain what money is. what are its principal function or roles within the system of money and Capital MarkMarkets? Within the economy?

There is no such thing or an item called money in economy. it is only numbers. described as an amount. in various Currencies. What you give while making a purchase is only " a bond or promissory note," assuring to pay certain amount, when demanded, printed on a security paper, or a metallic round, moulded, coin.
