gold can have it’s price arbitrarily set by a new hegemonic currency too. Say 200 $ gold 5 $ silver
Don’t think they are not thinking about this either
bullion can be confiscated also.
They are looking in every crack to find money ,no place is safe in times like this.
sure buy gold and silver but remember gold is not going to save you should the worse situation arise
So be sure to have food stock piled and heirloom seeds as well.

All central banks are are undesirable, but it doesn’t mean you can’t compare policies of each and rank order them from best to worst. A central bank with a strong currency policy, one that does not cause inflation that hits the poor and middle class the hardest, one that does not drive down production and an evermore reliance on imports, is obviously not as bad as one that does.
