What kind of companies are the most likely to train people to drive their Class B trucks/vehicles?
That is to say, which kinds of companies (which industries) are more likely to train people who haven't got CDLs, and have no formal experience driving class B commercial vehicles?
Interested in driving Class B vehicles only. Want to be home every night, so that rules out trucking companies.
I have a CDL learners permit, passed airbrakes /combination /tanker /hazmat exams, 1.5 years experience as a courier driving a car and a van, a spotless driving and criminal record, 35 years old, female, healthy, no handicaps or impairments, and am tobacco/alcohol/drug free.
With the endorsements that you have, you can go to any bus company and get trained to get a class B license. Right now you could get hired by a school bus company, and later after you have the license, and a bit of time driving those vehicles, be hired by other Companies!
